Our May Blog post!

As we promised, here is a peek at the before and after of our Speakeasy inspired Men’s Bar for The Peninsula Volunteers Inc. 2013 Decorator Showcase. Our designers, Bob Miller and Sindhu Peruri, transformed a forgotten space into a sexy retreat fit for a modern day Jay Gatsby. Rich teak Parquet wallcovering from Cowtan & Tout envelopes the walls and beamed ceiling. Perspectives in Wood created the ebonized and mirrored breakfront to display barware, art, and first edition books. A graphic, Art Deco styled black and white fabric covers upholstered bar stools from Wroolie & Co. Doré wall sconces with an intersecting design from Fine Art Lamps complement the original glass and brass drop lights. A bronze Greco Roman gladiator surveys the room and its revelers. We invite you to escape to our decadent space in the Woodside mansion and its 21-acre estate; the showhouse runs from May 4th through 24th, 2013 and benefits the Peninsula’s seniors.
